Giando was born near the city of Matera in 1990, he starts to draw before he starts to walk and moves to Parma in 1997. The same year he finds out the passion for japanese anime and mangas. He graduates at the artistic hight school “Paolo Toschi” and after some experiences as illustrator free-lance, he finds out his way in the tattoo wold.
Giando enters the staff of “Il Rosso Tattoo” shop as resident artist after he accomplished the apprenticeship path. He deals with “New School” and “Japanese” styles.
The most defining aspects of these two genres, those are really different one eachother, are solid and bright colours and the strenght gave by large and determined lines. Giando tries to interpret the japanese style with the max respect for asian masters, mostly looking at the painters Hokusai and Hiroshige, adding modern touches took from comic book world.
